This is the second pair of 2 in 1 shorts. He loves the comfortable undershort and the pockets for keys, phone and nutrition.

These shorts are my go to shorts for running, pilates, barre and yoga. So good I have 4 different pairs!!!

I've worn my new shorts for a few 20 km runs now. They are truly excellent and have immediately become my favourite running shorts.

They look good (stylish branding and Maralma's fantastic artwork on the liner) and they are comfortable (snug and secure, no chafing).

I really bought them for the FIVE pockets though, and this is still a deciding feature. The rear little zip pocket holds my car keys. The thigh pockets on the liner hold my phone (secure, no jiggling) and either a snack or my glasses case. Easy to access. And the 'normal' outside pockets on the shorts hold my hankies (2, cos when I run, my nose runs faster 😅).

The draw cord, tying up at OUTSIDE front works really well: the lace is robust and grips well when tying the bow, and being on the outside is so much easier to handle

Improvements? I hesitate to comment, but in all honesty there are a couple: outside pockets could be slightly (a cm or two?) deeper. And I'd like to see some sort of a slightly stiffening hem along the top of the line thigh pockets, for easier access when the running wearer is getting a bit exhausted and fumbley. Maybe on the outside pockets too.

I bought XL because my usual 2XL in other shirts was sold out. But XL works fine, possibly better. And I feel more stylish. 🙂

But all in all: absolutely top shelf, first rate shorts. Proud to be wearing them. I hope for another pair (khaki maybe?) from Santa! 5 star.
