Average routes are overrated. It’s time to spice up your training and create something extraordinary. We’re sure you’ve all seen it before—the creativity out there is seriously impressive. So we thought, why not turn this into a community challenge?
To help get your creative juices flowing and set you up for success from the start, here are a few tips to make the transition from athlete to artistic athlete as smooth as possible:
- Use a route building website - it may be Strava, Plotaroute, Trailrouter, whatever your preferred one is - to create the image. Trust us, just going out there and winging it is not effective!
- Circles = massive distance. Kudos to you if you want to go for a long ride but probably best to stick to shorter distances and easier shapes
- Use your local roads as inspiration! I tried to create some specific images to show you on here, but my ideas and my roads didn't quite match up without manually doing it on a big field.
