Happiest Sporting Memories

Meeting some of my best friends through sport and sharing the day to day process with them. I love training hard and seeing what the body is capable of, but I also appreciate the periods where things aren’t going to plan because they usually end up teaching you the most.

Goal for 2026

Have the most enjoyable training block into Kona and do the best I can on race day, third time’s a charm ;)

Your Extraordinary Moments

Winning Busselton Ironman 2024 after years of battling fatigue and periods where I genuinely didn’t know if I’d ever get back to feeling like myself again.

Competing for Scotland in swimming back in the day.

One thing you do to be better than yesterday:

Trying to stay curious through the hard moments instead of just frustrated by them. Learning from them, adjusting, and continuing to move forward.

A time when someone gave you a chance:

Coaches continuing to back me during periods where I wasn’t performing at my best taught me that sport is about far more than results.

Person you most look up to:

Kelly Holmes - 800m & 1500m 2004 Olympic Gold medallist. Her journey showed me that setbacks and difficult periods don’t mean the story is over.
